Standard Series Black Matte Nyauli

Understated elegance. Classic single-cut character. Built with the natural beauty of Himalayan craftsmanship.

Introducing the Standard Series Black Matte Nyauli by Sahana Guitars, a modern interpretation of a timeless single-cut design with a dark, understated aesthetic. Its striking black matte finish highlights the natural character of the Alder body, complemented by a spalted Himalayan Ash pickguard with distinctive organic grain patterns that make every instrument visually unique.

The Alder body provides a balanced tonal foundation, while the Himalayan Ash neck and Himalayan Laurel fingerboard bring together carefully selected tonewoods for a distinctive playing experience. The contrast between the dark finish and the naturally patterned pickguard gives the Black Matte Nyauli a bold identity without unnecessary ornamentation.

Designed for comfort and versatility, the guitar features a 25.5-inch scale length, a comfortable Slim C neck profile, a 12-inch fingerboard radius, and stainless steel frets for smooth playability and long-lasting durability.

At the heart of the Black Matte Nyauli is the Khukuri Pickups Prayer Flag T-style pickup set, delivering clarity, articulation, and dynamic response across a wide range of playing styles. From sparkling clean passages and crisp rhythm work to gritty blues and expressive rock leads, these pickups respond naturally to your playing dynamics.

Reliable hardware includes a Guyker hardtail bridge with roller saddles, Guyker tuners, and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL Black nut for dependable tuning stability and smooth string movement. The intuitive control layout features one volume, one tone, and a three-way toggle switch, while copper-tape-shielded cavities help reduce unwanted electrical interference.

The Standard Series Black Matte Nyauli combines a sleek, dark appearance with expressive T-style tones, comfortable modern playability, and distinctive natural detailing. Built for musicians who appreciate simplicity with character, it is a versatile instrument designed to stand out through its craftsmanship and sound.

Bold in appearance. Versatile in sound. Himalayan by nature.
